It remains to be seen if the New Orleans Saints have a quarterback fans can believe in, but the team seems to have found itself a left tackle. Pro Football Focus grading rated Kelvin Banks Jr. as the best pass protector in the NFL through two weeks of preseason games. Not just among rookies, or left tackles, or blockers who have met a certain threshold for snaps. The best among all linemen. But it's not too big of a surprise -- everyone knows the banks are closed on Sundays.

I sure am glad to hear this. Way too much negativity.

Would be nice to use a first round pick for a true first round talent.

Lol I said that immediately when I saw his body on draft day.

He’s giving me similarity to Hendrickson also where I instantly knew that was a good pick.

With #91 we never draft dudes who already have pass rush moves I was exited about that pick back then we always draft dudes with 0 pass rush moved.

This is awesome. Bookend tackles for the foreseeable future will help whatever young qb we end up with.

If Banks ends up being a top LT in the league I’m already calling this season a success. Don’t give a shite what record we have. Next two years are all about building out the roster with good young players.

Our tackles are top notch, and when McCoy plays the middle is much better. Sadly our guards are fricking idiots when McCoy doesn't play. The preseason has been a joke because McCoy hasn't played a snap. Can't even judge the "competition" because the qbs are constantly harassed.

And people were complaining about not having Thursday or Monday night games

I would largely agree with this, assuming Fuaga slides over to RT without any issues. Fill in the middle of the line, find a pass rusher, and you are a decent coach and qb away from being a playoff team.
