No he won't. I don't think he has the measurables. Someone far shittier will go high because they're 3 inches taller.

Many still rate Mayfield as the 3rd or 4th best QB in this coming class, which usually averages out to a15-32 in pick selection if he goes in the first. I’d rather they go with a linebacker in the 1st, but who knows.

If Drew Lock declares that's the guy I would want to develop for a couple of years.

I’m all in on drafting him at 32. Kid is a winner and loves football. Accurate as hell too so will fit system well

There should be an unconditional rule stating that Big 12 QBs should not be allowed to be drafted before the 3rd round.

Eh it's about 50-50 he definitely won't go in the top 20 because of his size. I think only one QB his height has gone in the first round in the last 20 years and that was Manziel.

Who that will be picking in the 20-32 range? Jacksonville maybe, Vikings maybe. I can see the Vikings staying pat with one of the three they have on the roster as all three have shown promise. Jacksonville may ride with Bortles.

He reminds me a lot of Watson last year in that he's done nothing but produce in college but people are going to find reasons they don't think he'll be good in the NFL.

Who in college is blowing anyone away this year? Darnold, Rosen, the Wyoming dude, all have seemingly fallen off the "can't miss" ledge.

Meanwhile Mayfield has his team in the playoff rankings with a huge win at Ohio State this year. 3 year starter at OU and I tend to like the fire he's got. I'd be perfectly fine with him in the first if he's there and wouldn't mind trading up to do it.

This team isn't missing many pieces that we can add to on FA or still with the draft.

Do I need to remind you that Carson Wentz came from an FCS team?

Cleveland, both New York's, maybe Chargers, maybe Jax, and Pitt will be taking a QB early. I believe Baker will make it to us. Plus, we have a ton of draft picks that we can give up to move up and snag this dude. The QBs of the future are able to create with their feet. Baker is our dude.

Wut? Not the kind of picks needed to move up in the 1st. Especially with no 2nd.
