when the Saints lost to Chicago I was pissed. I felt going into the game nervous and knew we were true underdogs but thought we had a fighting chance and really thought we could pull it off. By the time the game ended, I was so pissed I didn't want to talk to anyone that entire evening. The NFL season came crashing down, such a long road we traveled and it was now over, done, finitoed! Was at a party and just wanted to donkey punch all the stupid bitches who kept saying what a great year we had and that the next year we would win it all. While this was true - WE HAD JUST LOST THE NFC CHAMPIONSHIP - and these frickers were shrugging it off like no biggie, nice party, too bad we didn't win but we'll get em next year. That shite pissed me off worse. There was the offseason 4 weeks of pre-season, 17 weeks of regular season, playoff games, all that shite would have to be accomplished again for us to be that close again and it just seemed so far away after that Chicago game. The next year came and the next and it was looking like we would never experience that feeling again.....then comes this year.

This year for some reason I haven't even felt the real doubt I had in '06 that we will lose. I'm somewhat nervous about today but still feel it's our game and we have the uperhand which is opposite of 2006.

This long drawn out post basically just to say....I don't know how the hell I will handle losing today if it happens because I'm not prepared for it at all. In '06 I had it tucked away in the back of my mind and still had a hard time that day dealing with it. If it happens today I'm gonna be in trouble. I still honestly think - Saints 34 Vikings 23.
