however if you like Bear, Nick, or the Tide. Then yes you should feel insulted.

Doesn't apply to me then Trust me, I've put up with a lot crap over the years for being a Saints fan especially when I was still living in Mobile(mainly from Bama fans). In 2004, I moved down to Dauphin Island. I'm not real sure what the general consensus is but I think most people in this area root for the Saints. But a lot of them are "new" fans that started rooting for them during the 2009 season when the Saints started to make their championship run.

theres a reason people(the NFL, NCAA) invest in NOLA for hosting so many events, time after time....its a GREAT CITY!

they do big events there b/c it's set up for big events. the setup in nola is top notch for getting people from the superdome to hotels without too much trouble. and the airport can handle the influx

THAT is why so many events are hosted in nola

And because the city knows wtf it's doing when it comes to handling big crowds spread out in a downtown area. You might not like the city for whatever reason but there are plenty of reasons people flock there. Not to mention how the entire place opens its arms and embraces whatever event rolls in.

era: minus the Bayou Classic. The locals stay the frick away that weekend.
