Just a case of one poster adding words to what was actually said to support his position.

The word ground was not used when it was said Hayes stood over the body. You can stand over a slumped over person.

Said poster is just being argumentative and changing words and facts to fit his story, just as he always does.

Only in this case it's fricked up because somebody died but he still has to be argumentative and "right".

according to the lawyer the wife was trying to defuse the situation, not escalate it, and at the time shot, Will Smith was between her and the shooter. Meaning she wasnt directly near him.

So for him to intentionally shoot her still doesn't make sense to me, but the 2 bullet wounds she has definitely have me questioning that they were stray bullets. Certainly doesnt it look like they were stray, but it also doesnt line up with the lawyers story.

Jus really Sounds like all three of them were arguing outside of the vehicle. she was getting in his face he shot her twice to take her down. Then Smith got heated. First shot was to the side of chest which spun him around and then repeatedly shot in the back as he was trying to make it inside of his car to get his gun

I still have a hard time believing that he just shot the woman first.

I think he would more than just "heated"

If I was some a-hole I could absolutely see shooting a nagging wife obnoxiously getting in the way of my primary beef that I am targeting out. Without an intention to kill her, but more so to get out of the way. Once he got his rage out, I can see not making things worse by running or killing more people and even arrogantly stating my side. (I would never be this person, but I can absolutely see it all)

It was originally suppose to be a stray bullet. Now it's 2 bullets. It's odd to me that a it would be 2 stray bullets into her leg.. and she would be the first one shot? Will Smith is a massive guy, a massive target.

If she got shot first and even after Will simply said, "I have a gun" then it would be even more validated for him to try to retrieve the weapon.

keep in mind the lawyer stated she was first. he also said as I understand 50 times.... so its possible that it did not go down as he said, its also possible that she did get hit by strays, and it is also possible that hayes shot her first on purpose. who knows. I want to hear from more witnesses.

This isn't a shooting involving being shot in the back but it's very similar & pertains to this subject.

He didn't say that. Just listened to it again. He said Hayes "stood over Will Smith's dead body," "yelling over the body."

In the entire transcript, he never said the word "ground."

the lawyer describes the scene as saying Will was standing up outside the vehicle. How did his arm end up slumped over the steering wheel, bubba?

The killer, and i quote, "stood over Will Smith's dead body, yelling over the body of Will Smith".

How do you stand OVER someone that is slumped over in a car?

Both lawyers are trying the case in the court of public opinion.

At this point, take anything either of them say with a grain of salt.

hey as i said earlier, Fuller proved good on 2 of of his main points of contention.

Thomson I dont think did any justice today by attempting to go into detail and omitting some key parts as to what happened. Especially with the uncertainty in his voice and choice of words.

I would say the same thing, but the odds of me being told the same thing on Monday are way too low.

His case was long before the stand your ground laws came about. So I don't know if that part changed, but I'm pretty sure that if an armed person has their back to you- he is no longer an immediate or imminent threat- which is crucial in a self defense claim.

just promise me you won't take Hayes' lawyers statement as fact just bc he might be more put together.

He is about to put together the same spin job as the other lawyer.

I am sure that that guy being convicted had nothing to do with him not telling the investigators that his girlfriend was in the car with him and then made a call to her acting like she was possibly inside the house while the guy was "breaking in".
