Atlanta is basically trading Stroud or Young (rookie deal) for Watson (35 mil)

If Atlanta stays where they are they will be a bottom 3 team. They could have a superstar young QB on a rookie deal with a huge amount of cap space and draft assets. Or Watson at 35 mil+ and no draft assets. Young and Stroud look like they are going to be awesome.
I'm not sure I would want that deal as the Falcons GM.

They don’t care about winning. They just want to sell tickets. That’s all this Watson move is truly about. This isn’t the move you make to win if you are in Atlanta’s shoes.

Atlanta's fan base is so fickle. If they land Watson, they will put asses in the seats in the beginning of'22, but if they continue to lose they will stop showing up quick
