Glad you can read. This was a discussion about the season. Rankins was injuries in the playoffs. I listed Armstead.
You did manage to call me out because I did overlook the few games Davenport missed.

I like how you conveniently left off the part where I said I didn't know if Allen was a contributor. I don't follow ATL, I recognized Allen by name, but have no idea where he ranks on their depth chart.
The Saints went into the season with the expectation of Meredith being a starter and contributing. Lasco was our only FB and was a good ST player. When they lost him they had to replace his contribution with a back up TE, and there was an initial dropoff in the running game. TLL was our returner going into the season.
You may have preconceived biases against these guys, but they all had expected roles on the team and were expected to be productive when the season started.

On paper they have greatly improved their OL this offseason.
But I hope you are correct.

Not sure where you are getting that from, but Lasco was never a FB. He’s a RB. When Kuhn went down in 2017, Line took over and continued into this season. TLL was an average at best return man too. If you’re going to consider them key players, then every player who has a role on any team is a key loss. A key player is one who contributes significantly to a team and neither came close in any of their seasons with us.
I can give you Meredith but we knew he was still recovering from his injury and was expected to be our 3rd or 4th receiver (behind Thomas, Ginn, or Kamara.)

I would like to see how this post reads on 11/29 when the saints have officially been swept by the "pathetic" Falcons.
Bottom dwellers of the division again with a month to go. Congrats.
