But then they show that prepubescent qb not dressed, and I know we’ll kick the ever living shite out of that pathetic team.

I don’t spend any time thinking about them. Not even when they made the Super Bowl.

Downvote all you want, but don’t sleep on them this year in our division.

I expect them to be right there at the end.

They have all the pieces back that were injured last year, including Debo Jones(who seems to be Drew’s kryptonite).

You can’t count anyone in the division giving us hell out. They’ve all built their teams to try and matchup with us. Makes our dominance over the division even more impressive.

I think dominance may be an overstatement.

Disagree. The Falcons have holes on offense and defense. Ryan is a good QB, and the 2 Alabama receivers are strong, but their OL and DL’s are average at best.

Whatever their holes, they’ll pull it together and give us hell twice this year. Just the way it is in division.

I'd say last season their OLine was one of the worst. I believe they finished with Matt Ryan being top 5 (not in a good way) in sacks, pressures, and hurries.

It may take until mid-season for these guys to get in-sync with the rest of their guys, but it's foolish to say they don't have the pieces to fix the protection problem for Matt Ryan. Remember how much of a godsend Ramczyk was for Brees? Like Brees, if Ryan has time in the pocket he's one of the best in the league. With those receivers and backfield being healthy any defense will have trouble keeping points off the board. I could see the Falcons being 2-6 mid-season and winning 7 of the last 8 to challenge for a wildcard bid.

Because the Saints were 100% healthy the entire season?

At quick glance, Atl's biggest losses were Debo, Neal & Freeman. I cannot recall is Allen was someone they depending on a lot.

The Saints had games where they were pulling WRs of the PS just so they could dress 4. Key injuries during the season: Ginn, P Rob, Meredith, Armstead, Lasco, TLL.. And I'm sure I missed another 1-2 players that we went into the season expecting to rely on.

I would like to see how this post reads on 11/29 when the saints have officially been swept by the "pathetic" Falcons.

FTF and all but none of them were “key” injuries especially if you’re not going to consider Allen a key injury for the Falcons.

Of course they’ll be good. So will Carolina and Tampa will never be an easy game. Division games are always a war. I don’t discount Atlanta at all. Heck, they may get close to generating the excitement that their Soccer team does.

Didn’t they lose a starting DB, JJ Wilcox, for the season, this season. Not sure if he’s a starter or not.
