Is this a game where you give a heavy dose of kamara? Not sure I trust Ingram to hold on to wet ball. Conditions (wind and rain) don't seem to be ideal for brees throwing a bunch of down field passes. I'd hand the ball off to kamara around 15-20 times and throw him swing passes too. I'd ride Kamara to a win

I haven't looked at the actual stats, so I could be wrong to say that. It does seem (going off my memory) that Ingram fumbles quite a bit more than kamara.

I have actually caught myself thinking the same thing so I went and checked the stats.

he has 1280 career carries and has fumbled 14 times. That is a fumble every 91 carries or so.

He has never fumbled more than 3 times in a season.

I think his fumble issues are overblown and I am guilty of overblowing them myself.

to compare though, Kamara has fumbled 2 times in 281 career carries.

Kamara much more efficient when he isn’t the guy pounding it 20x. Mark will be absolutely fine. If you can’t give a running back the ball in some rain there isn’t a reason to have him in the roster.

Issue is Kamara isn't made to handle the punishment.

We all saw the first 4 weeks. The other thing about Kamara is that he's a secure guy, but it's different compared to Ingram. Someone who goes into the teeth of a defense like Ingram is more prone to getting things punched out, while Kamaras runs are often more to the outside or caught in space where he sees the guy coming.

This is a run kind of game if it's storming though. That's obvious.

Adrian Peterson fumbles more than Ingram. You wouldnt sit Peterson in his prime (or even now...lol) if you were worried about fumbles.

I just checked the weather forecast for Tampa. Looks like the majority of the rain will be between 9:00 and 12:00.
The percentage for rain at kickoff is only 20%.

In a situation like this, give them a heavy dose of Ingram to soften then up, hit them with Kamara to gash them here and there, then finish them off with Ingram again.

I don’t know why people think you can’t pass in wet conditions. It’s actually harder on the defense when the field is wet.

Change nothing..play Saints football.
Spread the ball around keep Tampa guessing every down and just do what got us the 10 wins and that is play fearless.

It is absolutely pouring in tampa. The field is soaked, hopefully the tarp helps but it’s gonna be sloppy.
