I think moncrief could be a good option. Seems like he was starting to come around but then had some injuries and then Luck got hurt as well. He’s also still young and should be cheap.

Do you not think some team, ANY team in the NFL would’ve been willing to give up more than a 4th rd draft pick to have a legitimate WR1 in his mid 20s under contract? Do you not find it funny that the team who was willing to give up even a 4th was the freaking browns?
You do realize that a wr1 should be able to actually get behind his guy at least part of the time right? Landry is one of the best 2 or 3 underneath guys in the league. But on no planet is he a “wr1”.

Moncrief and Luck when they played together had some really strong games. He has solid speed and he is a good RZ option.

Remember the bitterness of being a eRFA? I still think he and his agent knew he played well, he'd have been given a 2nd round tender which means another year of cheap labor because no one is giving up a 2nd round for a slot guy (Jarvis got 4th). Now, they might not 2nd round tender him and just a Base tender which makes me think teams are likely willing to offer him a contract in hopes of replicating his previous play (less guarantees maybe?). Great for him, he gets paid by us or someone else.

I think there was a KO they had him return if I remember right and he looked like he was running with a ball and chain on his ankle.
For what ever reasons he was just slow as hell. I hope he can rebound and if not I really like the kid we got from the pats PS.
