it wouldn't have hurt to sign a backup veteran OT on the cheap or draft another OT. i could be wrong but i heard prior to this year that bushrod had struggled.

3 times more than brown's figure, and brown didn't have help.

your kidding yourself if you think he never had help. You are bringing up brown's penalties over the year's which has hurt too. You are being hypocritical in solely spotting out bushrod.

and 6x less holding calls than brown.
but of course, the only stat you care about is sacks given up.

Yeah, you can't walk around NFL Free agency without stepping on a premier/probowl LT on the cheap. They're falling off the trees like leaves in Washington October.

i'll take holding calls any day over brees getting hit and the possibility of fumbles.

oddly enough, drew's having his best year of his career.

if Bushrod would have the same amount of holding penalties as Brown last year, he'd only have one sack.

a servicable OT would be nice, we don't have that. i'm not asking for roaf or walter jones, just someone who doesn't need help on literally every play and can hold his own. i don't like stinchcomb at all but he is at least servicable.

We rank 4th in sacks allowed. 5th in Rushing yards.
Bushrod this year > Brown last year, fwiw.

we were 2nd in rushing off LT last year
3 sacks allowed by brown >>>>>
9 sacks
14th or 18th in rushing off of LT

What "help" are you talking about?

I like how he takes "yards behind left tackle" like it's gospel, but ignores holding flags, which Brown led the league in last year.
If you would be listening to this guy, our running game would have been great last year and suck this year.
