You just gave me headache but Im goin to try and understand what you are saying: Your trying to say Devery is better because Lance couldnt get traded for a 2nd or 3rd. Yet, Devery was a free agent for the past two seasons and the only other team besides the Saints that was interested was the Bucs (So I guess that means he sucks
). Great insight, please only post if you want to contribute good information or a logical opinion.

I will be a little bit maybe if it happens. He just needs consistency. He makes great catches then just drops easy passes. It has got to be mental thing. Maybe he went to Indian Guru or something to help with concentration. He has the skills and works hard from what I hear. I hope he puts it all together this year. mental skills are just like physical skills, we (they all have) limitations. What separates the greats from the goods from the ok, it the skills, work ethic and the mind. (football mind)Jerry Rice, Micheal Jordan, Tiger Woods, etc would not tolerate failure. They can out play you and out think you on the field.

There have been a couple good posts in this thread (only a couple and none were Chad's). Just wanted to reiterate the best, most concise viewpoint.
Both are good solid NFL players. Neither are "Great Players". Neither make it to the ProBowl. If Devery didn't play for LSU, this thread would be <5 pages.

I trust Brees and Payton and they believe Lance is better and thats the reason Devery doesnt get on the field as much.
Devery is a good role player and if somebody goes down in the WR core ahead of him, I will have the upmost faith that he will come in and make the most of the opportunity.
