I'm no longer a big NFL fan either for the reason you stated about "random" enforcement of the Rules. It's inconsistent, and when teams are somewhat evenly matched, the Referee Flag will very often decide the game - even when that Flag for that infraction has not yet been called at any point in that important game.

I can't abide it and I'm no longer a big fan.

I'm also no longer convinced of the "Integrity" of the game.

it really had more flaws in it this past year than I can remember.

offensive line play just isn't that good for the most part.

too many injuries across the board.

and that's even with scaled back practices. I don't really get it.

I found myself more into the whole scope of college football over the NFL this past season.

Kept up with the Saints as usual but didn't get into other NFL games unless I bet on them. That's what the league seems to be wanting you to be doing in subtle way.
