I wouldn't be shocked if Ryan gets another year. His defense sucked this year but he also was given a whos who of recycled garbage to work with. At what point to we quit firing the DC every 2 to 3 years and put some blame on the players or the guy assembling the roster.

Colston is not done playing. Maybe he takes a pay cut. Maybe we cut him. But he isn't going to quit now.
Loomis and Payton had two back to back mediocre years and went nowhere. One mediocre year isn't going to get them fired.

I definitely don't think Vitt is going anywhere, but to be fair Gary Gibbs was his boy too.
