Whitworth is frickin scum. frick him.

The Rams didn’t win. They all know we were the better team. The whole country knows.

Must suck to make a Super Bowl appearance and have the entire country know you’re team is there fraudulently.

So let me see all the posts from you and others offering to replay the game so the steelers get a better shot at the playoffs and the rams get their fair shot at the nfc host spot

Did I speak for everyone? I was referring only about myself. I don’t feel the need to speak for everyone

So essentially, you agree with me but hate my contrarian schtick.

Sounds like you're just mad at yourself because you know I'm right and you agree with me.

Whitworth is right and wrong

The Rams got fricked pretty good on the non-facemask call on goff

They likely score a td if that gets called

However, the saints missed call was more egregious and pretty much guarantees us victory. So they arent exactly comparable

Where saints fans are 100% losing their mind though and looking ridiculous is getting mad at Rams actual players for not basically offering to replay the game and apologizing to the saints That is ridiculous

I agree with you here

Never once expected to hear anything different from the players.. it’s not their place to apologize for such a horrible non call

They worked just as hard as the saints to make it to the Super Bowl. I honestly feel bad for them, but never once felt like THEY needed to apologize

I gurantee this is what Brees would say if we won in the same fashion

"I truly respect those officials, its a hard job they do. and the Rams and their organization fought hard and had a great season. It was a hard fought game and I am glad we got the win"

If Goff said the same thing now

FULL

BLOWN

You can be happy about winning and admit you caught a huge fricking break to get that win.

These things aren't mutually exclusive.
And alot of rams initially did that.

At this point, they are tired of hearing about it and I dont blame them from their point of view either. I dont fault a rams player from being tired of it, just like I dont blame a saints player for being pissed about it

The thing is you technically can’t say “Saints win for sure” if the flag is thrown. It wasn’t a kneel out the clock situation. They would have still had to run 3 plays and then execute a successful field goal attempt to take the lead. Heck the Ram’s would have still gotten the ball back with a little time on the clock, and we all know what happened in that same situation last year, the “Minnesota Miracle” happened.

Sure the chances of a Saints victory would have been VERY high, but no guarantee.

So the point Whitworth makes about the missed face mask is legit. You can say that missed penalty cost them a touchdown. Which would have forced the Saints to score a touchdown on their last possession. So if that call is made correctly the chance of a Rams victory would have also been really high at that point.

The missed PI call was atrocious. But to discredit the Rams by saying the ONLY reason they won is because of the REFs isn’t fair to them, and most importantly isn’t accurate.

The NFL’s terrible/crooked officiating is the problem, not the Rams. Any outcome is tainted because of it along with the outcome of the Super Bowl.

To be honest, they only would have needed to move the ball 25 or so yards in 15 seconds to have a very makeable FG for that freak Zuerlin
