Kamara is not a guy you can just run up into the guard’s arse and expect something to happen. He needs a little space to create
But given his age and unlikeliness of having a fantastic oline next year how much better do we really expect it to get?

He could easily play well more at WR.

Well it can’t get any worse. You hope the zone scheme lifts all these guys. Fuaga was billed as arguably the best zone guy in the draft. Ruiz and Saldeveri are best suited for the zone. McCoy isn’t an issue. Not sure what it will do for Penning but it can’t be worse then whatever he did last season. Few of the new OL have experience in the scheme as well. Kamara should benefit from it as a runner, too. His burst looked fine last season imo there just wasn’t any space to do anything. Carr not being arse would help tremendously too

there is a few first time play callers in the division.
Robinson in Atlanta and Coen in Tampa Bay.
Kubiak has at least been the play caller before and then studied more under Shanahan in San Francisco.
what worries me is playing Dallas and Philly early in the year (conference games). Dallas has Zimmer as the DC and Philly with the great Vic Fangio. Also, KC's strength has been its defense, and the damn game is at Arrowhead. I think the Tampa game at home has to be a win as well as the Bronco game. If the Saints fall to Denver, watch out. That's the last thing the Saints would need if things got off to a rocky start before that game.

Should’ve got rid of him 2 years ago. MT hung on too long also.

Good riddance; how many more millions does he need?

These gosh darn whipper snapper players getting CTE and getting paid. How dare they ask for more money?

SF guy gets a new contract so Kamara wants more? SF guy is #1 ranked RB snd Kamara not even in top 10. Get real, dude, you have not been produced lately.

I agree with this should have tried to get a higher draft pick I doubt they could even get a 3rd for him now. They basically held on to him too long I would think what he brings to the table out weighs his open market value now.

Another malcontent
A couple of losses and I bet Kamara opts out with undisclosed lingering injury

He is getting paid. He's under contract. Nice try tho.

It won’t. Kubiak should help but it won’t be enough. Zero hope with the Loomis/Allen/Carr triumverate. Kamara is just the first. There will be more and more players sitting on the side demanding trades to get out of this middling situation

Saints are headed to a total rebuild.
It makes no sense to extend an aging RB at a position where longevity concerns are real on top of the fact that he was suspended and has been hurt while on the contract he signed that made him one of top RB's in salary.
If Saints could they would love to be rid of both he and Lattimore's contracts.
