I agree but he said himself that he wasn’t expecting to be called until the third round. We could have traded down 20 spots and still have gotten him. But if they had him targeted for some reason I am on board with it.

Meh if we liked him that much another team probably liked him that much too. Don’t get too caught up in that

There has been plenty of guys drafted in the first that were bust and plenty of guys on day 2 or 3 that became studs. Trust the process

Very sharp. And willing to accept any role. Looks like a great addition to our secondary

I was impressed with the Interview.

Not so much his tape. For a senior you would expect more impact plays.

Saints need a Vet Safety in the mix.

But he seems like a good edition.

He is a reach in the 2nd. Though. Dont So much more talent around him.

4.36 21.16mph(senior bowl)

One of the fastest CB's in the draft. Has size for slot.

I think it’s a great way to address the need once Brisker and Pitre fell off the board. Worst case scenario is Ceedy is a safety and he’s a slot/nickel DB. Best case is, he rounds out into a nice safety and Ceedy stays put.

I watched his film last night and he looks like a safety to me. Volume tackler with fantastic closing speed. Very willing around the LOS and gets off blocks well. Never quits on a play and does a ton of gang tackling/clean up work. All of his deficiencies are in coverage and he was still pretty good there.

Man there is zero way anyone knows this. None. I don’t know why people say things like this.

He looks like a safety to me, which is still a big need. Even if he’s a CB, we’re an injury or two from PJ Williams being a starting outside corner. The CB room is strong but that shite can fade fast. The more capable players at premium positions the better

That's because he was probably following the mock draft of these experts that are turning out to be complete bullshite. Like a lot of other dumbasses on this board. These grades put out by guys like Kiper and McShay weren't even close.

I enjoy the Ross Jackson podcast (came on after the interview).

Don't know him, but he is very good commentator.

This pick might mean Roby or PJ might be in their last year here

I was in a Bengals forum and some fans were saying they were hoping to get him in the 2nd round.
