Per Rap:

quote:

Free agent RB Alfred Morris is on a plane right now, heading to visit the #Saints, source said. He’s also had two other teams call with interest in signing him. New Orleans is in the market for a RB, and Morris was productive for the #49ers last year.

111 rush, 428 yards, 2 TD last year

They don't like what they have after Kamara and Murray I imagine.

Or worse, something is wrong with Murray...

I think it's like some kind of veteran's easy day or something, but Murray isn't at practice per Holder

I know.

I hope we aren't doing that RB by rotation again.

What's our RB depth chart looking like? I imagine probably no one after AK/Murray. RBs get hurt all the time. It would be suicide to enter season with just those two.

Kamara
Murray
Dwayne Washington

I don’t think Buck Allen has practiced yet, doesn’t look promising for him

Dwayne Washington is like 6"1' and 223lb

"Dwayne Washington really compares favorably to Saints legend Deuce McAllister though Deuce had six pounds on this kid. Just like Deuce, Dwayne Washington is big and fast. Somehow, Deuce McAllister always looked like a big fullback. If you’re too young to remember what it looked like when Deuce was playing, I’m linking here to a highlight reel from 2006. While you’re watching, remember that this is what we can get out of Dwayne Washington as far as being a between the tackles grinder."
