Alex Smith traded to the Redskins

This will now make Kirk Cousins a FA. Now a team that needs a qb can pick him up and possibly push a qb, hopefully Baker, down to us in the draft

Didn’t Alex Smith win the AFC west and throw a touchdown in the probowl two days ago? He must suck.

We'd have to give up so much to get Mayfield. No way he just falls to us.

I just really dont understand this move. Browns need to pick up Cousins. We may actually be trading up for Mayfield. The stars are aligning.

Wonder what they got in return??

If the browns draft a QB instead of picking up Cousins, they deserve failure.
They can actually not be horrible for once if they draft barkley and another stud at 4 with Cousins leading that team.

Right now it says a player and picks. The trade will be final tomorrow.

Drew deal at least 24 ish
On the agreement in principle. Alex Smith will average $23.5 million per year in new money on the extension and $70 million in guarantees. Nobody will be able to review that contract for awhile because officially there is no contract.

He's no Kirk Cousins

It could be Jacksonville that gets Cousins. He could be piece of the puzzle that puts them in the SB and wins.

After his time with the Niners, Alex will only play with Native American teams.

KC moved from 27 to 10 last year, so it can be done. However, the price is steep. KC gave up the 27th, plus their 3rd round pick AND their 2018 1st round pick
The Saints don't have a 2nd rounder, so making that big of a jump better be worth it because the first guy you take who might be able to help you wouldn't be until the 4th round

It’s a 3rd rounder and CB Kendall Fuller for Alex Smith. Good deal for KC.
