Absolute best trade value of saints 1st rounder

This title got me thinking... Our first round picks haven't been worth that much. Seriously, what type of draft pick would you trade for Reggie Bush, Robert Meachem, Sedrick Ellis, Malcolm Jenkins, Patrick Robinson, Cameron Jordan or Mark Ingram?

in an off-position for him at 4-3DE he still got 8 sacks. also, correct me if I'm wrong, he was the highest rated run-stopping DE. Kind of knew that since everyone knew he was good at it.

I'd say if he can repeat that season and we add a 10+sack OLB, we are gonna be a force

If Cam Jordan retired today, i wonder who would deliver his Hall of Fame introduction?

Lots of people shite on Bush, but he brought excitement and helped the team. He wasn't the second coming, that was Breesus, but he was good enough for us and we won a SB with him.

Cam is coming around. He looked good latter half of season. I think he's going to be a stud this year.

everyone says this is a draft without a lot of stars but with a ton of depth. If that's the case, no better year to do this than this one

I think that the people saying that are idiots. This is probably one of the best defensive draft classes that I've seen in over 10 years. We were the worst fielded defense in the NFL last year, not going for that mid-early first rounder is folly. You have plenty of stars in key positions that the Saints need, available in the top 20 of the draft. I honestly think they should try to get even another 1st rounder for this year by trading next year's, but that's just my opinion.

To me any of Jones, Mingo, or Jordan are the slam dunks. prolly disappointed with a trade back and any of them on the board.

If any one of those 3 is still on the board, the Saints will make that pick. You have an underwhelming defense and a new Defensive Coordinator coming in so you take your best shot.

Don't forget, there's going to be a ton of players unemployed when the cuts start happening. The Saints aren't the only team with cap problems.

Most of the regulars on here take him for what he's he really is. A very good utility player that worked well in this offense. And he was a very good athlete.

No one here is saying any different.

All that being said, realistically what would another team give us in a trade for Cam Jordan? 3rd round pick?
All we got back for Bush was a practice squad guy and exchange of 6th round picks.

I don't think that is a good way of looking at it.

If they re-did that draft, would he be a 1st round pick? I think he easily would be

You would not be familiar with the value of the 32nd pick. We are.

Damn, that's cold, don't you think? But then again, you were responding to a 'Bama fan.

Actually by that chart, we could easily pick up a late 1st and a 2nd. Or perhaps two 2nd's should one team have some.
