We have our #1 receiver. Why bring AB's issues to our locker room?

We have one receiver. Adding a guy like AB actually gives Thomas single coverage. No one else we have is a threat enough to do that consistently

1. Double MT - AB and kamara rip you to shreds

3. Try and play zone - Drew Brees picks apart the defense

Yeah I mean people forget we were willing to drop whatever it took to sign Suh last year. He signed for 17M with LA. If the FO wants him, I don't think they'll hesitate to spend up to a 2nd or 3rd to get him and make the $$s work.
Whether it's AB or not, no one can deny the need for an at least solid #2.

I've seen a lot of mock drafts where the Saints take a receiver in the 2nd round.
Shannon Sharpe (who is an idiot) said Brown's worth is a 2nd round pick.
If you are truly all in for Brees' final year, you do what you can to get every weapon possible for him. I'd make the trade in a heart beat and then figure it all out later.
