for anyone that didn't figure out the answer to the question if the problem was the scheme or the players!
Spags career path in the NFL-
Defensive asst, DB coach, LB coach, Coordinator, Head Coach, Coordinator, Defensive Asst (Balt.). As long as ya keep progressing you get more shots, start failing and you move back down the coaching food chain again. I think Ryan truly understood how great this was a fit for him. Less than successful and he might have been heading back to position coaching.

I believe thhe Broncos were ranked something like 5/2 last season.

One thing I really hated spags for was his lack of use of Galette. Never understood that.

99 Rams were pretty impressive with the #1 offense (32.9ppg) and #4 defense (15.1ppg allowed). That's 4.1ppg better than our offense and 3.2ppg better than our defense.

2nd offense and 4th defense and we aren't considered as much of a threat as the seacocks, brochoes, and queefs.

Absolutely. I'll admit I was pretty negative going into this season based on my expectations for the defense. RR is doing an amazing job, plain and simple. Never would've thought they could be this good. Give me some crow and I shall eat it.
