Saints #29 for Tyler Huntley?

I wouldn't think the Saints would be targeting QB at #29 in this draft with the needs they have but Huntley could be a good QB to build around. Would any QB outside of the top 3 or 4 be better than him?
Add a rookie like Jaren Hall or Max Duggan in the later rounds to develop and use Taysom as your primary #2 QB.
Huntley is a ERFA and not sure what a long term contract for him would look like but it would have to look better then 35mill/per for Carr.

That's insanity. No team in the league would give up a first round pick for Huntley. He's an adequate backup, but if he was worth a first they wouldn't be about to pay Lamar 50 mil. They'd could trade Lamar for multiple picks/players.

Lol. But when the Saints traded the rights to CSP for the 29th pick everyone was crying the 29th pick was basically a 2nd round pick. Now it's a first. Lol. Besides the article said a first round tender or a second round. How about giving up the 40th for him? Or is the 40th pick basically a first round pick? Lol.

Boring I know but I’m hoping for a legit offensive or defensive lineman in the first if someone solid is available. We gotta get better in the trenches and build some depth there. My next choice for 1st round would be another wr if the guy from usc or jaxson smith njigba (or however you spell it) from osu fell to us. I love shaheed but I don’t think he’s a solid #2 quite yet. Honestly not sure olave is a #1 even though he had a nice rookie campaign.

Huntley had 3 TDs and 6 total turnovers. We can get that with you playing QB.
