The New Orleans Saints saw the price of tickets drop after their rematch with the Dallas Cowboys was delayed, but Philadelphia Eagles fans haven’t been quick to seize on the lower prices, per attendance projections from Vivid Seats. Vivid Seats is one of several ticket sellers you can find online, and they put together reports projecting the shares of each fanbase will show up for each of the divisional round playoff games. If Vivid Seats’ projections are accurate, just 18-percent of the crowd in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome will be cheering on the visiting Eagles. That’s the smallest crowd for a visiting team on the four-game slate:

quote:

Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints: 18-percent
Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs: 19-percent
Los Angeles Chargers at New England Patriots: 20-percent
Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams: 29-percent

These are just estimations from one source, but it checks out compared to the other games. Visiting squads often take up a large share of seats for games in L.A., and any Chargers fans would need to make a cross-country trip to support their Bolts. Like the Saints, Kansas City is known for its fanatical home crowd. Ticket IQ, another online ticket sales vendor, noted that this Saints-Eagles game is the second-cheapest game on the weekend.

Didn't somebody just post yesterday that there are still a lot of affordable tickets available?

I'm actually surprised it's that high...?

Think there's going to be over 12,000 Eagles fans there..?

Yesterday there were 150 dollar tickets. Today they are hovering around 225 or so. As we get closer to the game, I suspect the price toninch up further.

I think that means 18% of the secondary market. Let's say 10,000 tickets made it to the market. That's about 2,000 fans. The other 65,000 might be season ticket holders that kept their tickets?
