no trading, post your ideal top 3 within reason. For reference, let's use Daniel Jeremiah's Top 50 (he was a longtime NFL scout).

https://www.nfl.com/top50

For #13 you can pick from #10 down
For #31 from #24 down
For #44 from #34 down

some tries...

Waynes-Dupree-Kendricks all defense all the time
Gregory or Beasley-DGB-Fisher pass rush, new Colston/Graham, OL
Scherff or Collins-Dupree-Kendricks needs met

Using that base #13 looks most ripe for a pass rusher or OL. Waynes could be the BPA if available.

At #31 I really wouldn't mind DGB. Would be a great fit if they score his head being on straight enough. There are several CBs that look right in that range too. Dupree at 13 is a stretch for me. At 31 I would be ecstatic tho.

#44 looks like LB territory. Kendricks could possibly gone but a great fit if there. Dawson, Perryman or Harold are other #44 LBs.

Shelton and Ray do not meet the parameters of this exercise...

For #13 you can pick from #10 down
For #31 from #24 down
For #44 from #34 down

Why does it have to be DJ's rankings only? I mean Shelton is a legitimate possibility at 13.

13- Waynes
31- Dupree
44-Perryman

New blood on every level of defense.
Waynes is a BPA and a need in our defense.
I think Rob can really use Dupree all over although I disagree that he will last til 31. He may be our 13. I think Perryman will be a great ILB and a great leader.

you have to draw a line somewhere to do such a thing. Take another Big Board and do the same thing. With no lines it's just open discussion. Like inserting that Shane Ray will be available at 31. Yes, it is possible, maybe a 2% possibility.

No parameters draft I take Cooper 13, Collins 31, and Gregory 44

I never said there didn't need to be realistic parameters but to limit it to only one person's big board can skew things because that's one person's opinion. I would say there's a decent chance Shelton or Ray fall.

And to hell with the defense! Let Rob Ryan show his true coaching ability...or lack thereof.
