This is very simple….
So incredibly simple even Tigerbait2008 can understand … hahaha.
Moore is going to give Rattler a plethora of chances to compete and hopefully grow.
When Moore does eventually does pull the plug on Rattler playing time ….that’s it… he’s done.
Shough will be your starter and Rattler will only get back to starting if Shough has an injury.
Bottom Line… Rattler will be a journeyman back up QB in this league for many many years… he can earn a good living performing this role.
However, he is NOT the Franchise QB the Saints seek.
Shough will start .. then Saints fans get to see his skill set.
Unfortunately, we may come to the same sad conclusion we did with Rattler…
Then you look to the 2027 draft or free agency to solve the QB concern.

QB is not the main problem. The OL is garbage, and Shough would get crushed behind it. Rattler can move, so he offers a better option given the surrounding personell.
DT and LBs are slow and weak, which means the D is consistently getting trampled.
