Such a moronic comment. Businesses go into business to make a profit. Just spouting off on something that you have no idea of the timeline or the details; and then belittling a person because she has money is very childish.

Let me know when your check for support of someone out of work for an extended period of time from this Coronavirus is in the mail; then you can rant.

These Smoothie King Center workers haven't even lost a check yet. Give circumstances a chance to work out. Ms. Benson has usually done the right thing.

What's wrong with people like me?

People like me are tired of hearing "think of the poor people", when I've been in the same situation and actually decided to work my way out of it rather than just turn around looking for handouts

It’s more the whole package. It’s the pearl clutching and sole concern over the owner’s financial well being in donating a few million of their billions, to(borrow an interpretation of your characterization), pay handouts for the filthy poors whom you go out of your way to express your apathy to downright disdain of.

And I’m not exactly sure what you expect the millions of workers, who are poised to be locked out of their income for an undetermined amount of time due to the economic swings brought on by a pandemic and the government mandates that have followed, are going to do to simply pick themselves up by the bootstraps in this situation?

In a rare sign of agreement, even both parties seem to agree based on last nights vote that you have to do something financially for those affected.

I'm fairly confident that Gayle is still going to have an opportunity to help those people, because this isn't going to be over in 30 days.

And put me on the side of those people who say that Gayle was in the process of doing the right thing. There's no reason to trash her whatsoever. This is a good story about a good guy named Zion, not a bad story about a bad woman named Gayle.

No, it's more of it's their money, they are entitled to do with it what they please..

Everytime some little thing happens, people get this entitled attitude that billionaires should just start handing over money because they have it..

Gayle has always been a giving person just like most billionaires are, and most of them will always do the right things, but this sense of "You have more than me so give me" is why people will stop giving
