Although he made it through draft season without being traded, New Orleans Pelicans superstar Zion Williamson isn't out of the clear just yet. While appearing on an NBA Summer League broadcast Friday night, Bleacher Report's Chris Haynes reported that Williamson could still be dealt if it is to the right situation and for a good enough package. "Not saying he was clearly available but Zion can be had," Haynes said. Williamson was the subject of a number of trade rumors ahead of last month's NBA draft, but that speculation was ultimately shut down.

Gotta agree with Bigdogg, literally anyone in the nba can be traded if the price is right.

You mean the Pelicans aren’t stupid right?

That would be a horrible trade, you would have to pay 300 million dollars to a guy thats about 3/4 of the player Zion is.

Basically just saying he's not untouchable but my 3rd eye has me thinking this is Dame planted to get the Heat to up their offer. There might have been some dangling of Zion at Portland predraft and supposedly the Pels called about Dame since his trade demand. Combine those two hypotheticals to make Miami think we're a Dame trade threat that they need to beat to get where he wants to go faster.

The thing with trading Zion for Dame is that we get worse as a team.

You trade for Dame to pair him with Zion, there’s literally no other reason to trade for him.

That was never going to happen anyway. Portland was not including Sharpe with Scoot even if they made the trade.

A guy with an obvious hole in his game (turnovers) that's still gonna be owed $80bazillion dollars and a guy that can't stay on the floor? Can't wait!

I think Chris Haynes and Jake Madison secretly text each other to spread Zion trade rumors.
