I can live with it from Adams, he’s the designated badass on the team. Zion on the other hand goes to the line way too much a game versus Adams. I have no doubt he can improve but some of those shots are just ugly coming off his hand.

Zion has been 70% or so in the previous 3 games. It definitely has not been his night thus far at the stripe.

This is a quick to the whim terrible take. We have other 2 starters that are worse free throw shooters

Neither of whom take nearly as many free throws. Look at the pure amount of misses. Each miss is a wasted point. Zion has way more wasted points than Ball or Adams.

Zion NEEDS to get his form up to par. He shoots way too many not to.

Edit:
Just for reference, only 2 players have taken more than 10 free throws (BI and Zion). No one on the team aside from them have missed more than 3 (BI only missed 4 and is shooting 83%).

Zion has missed 15. The rest of the team combined (which includes Hernangomez going 1 for 4 last night) have missed 19.

When a guy is going to the line 8 times a night, he needs to hit much more than 53%. Trying to equate Adams and Ball with Zion is folly. He has 4 times the attempts of Ball and 8 times the attempts of Adams.

Yea.. you kinda knew it was going to be that kind of night seeing how the ball came off his fingers in his first attempt. It did not look good and it got in his head. Hopefully he can have a short memory and shoot it better tomorrow.

if Zion becomes a consistent 75% FT shooter he is one of the very best players in the league. If he doesn't hit that, he isn't.

Zions form was better in the preseason. You can tell he’s overthinking it now. Everything went to the left last night.
