I thought about making this same thread around the All Star Break, but I didn’t want to be banned. Since it was simply an unsourced thought/gut feeling, based upon speculation and how his other injury recoveries had played out in the first 3 seasons.
Unfortunately this hamstring injury saga has played out close to expected so far. Whether it is technically the right decision or not. If we don’t let Zion play in playoff games back to back seasons. It’s over and the relationship will be close to irreparable on both ends.
So this could very well be the end. But it’s okay. I think we can still be a damn good basketball team with Ingram, Herb, Trey, Jose, Dyson, and Zion trade pieces.

Yeah I agree but this isn’t just on Zion. Griffin deserves a lot of blame. His ego is out of control, had same issue in cleveland before he was fired. Griffin wants to control everyone in including coaches and players in a player run league.

I'm ok with moving him after he's played a few summer league games to put the shine back on his theoretical ceiling gms will need to imagine before dealing.
I'm disappointed but at least we know now.
