You keep saying this, but honestly, how many times did you watch the Suns play?

I actually sat courtside for 2 Sun games last year while in town for work. Corporate seats. One at the beginning of the year and one later in the year. I did not watch 82 games

I think booker and Ayton are legit too so

the best NBA comp to Ayton is David Robinson. Same build, good in the PnR, good finisher, & good back to the basket game. only real difference between the two is that Robinson was an elite shot blocker and Ayton is average to above average

Certainly can't defend a David Robinson comp, but Jefferson isn't so good either.

Looking at Ayton per 36 as a rookie, he's equal or nearly equal to Big Al at his peak.

Jeffereson at the same age was getting 14 mpg.

Big Al per 36 as a rookie is same as Ayton as a rookie

Is this how that works shel

With a much lower TS%, PER, and virtually all of the advanced metrics.

See above, I'm not sure you're very intune with using the numbers at this point. You've made numerous posts trying to compare Ayton as a rookie to players at their peak which is not a good comparison to begin with, but also ignore that Ayton compares very favorably as a rookie even to those guys you mentioned at their peaks.

I'm interested in you telling me how it works with these Greg Monroe comparisons.

Just bc it’s a comp doesn’t mean I think he’ll be David Robinson. Simply saying their size/game/abilities are similar

a good rookie season numbers-wise does not guarantee a player future success

I haven’t once said he was like any player because of their stats. That’s on you. If that is all you want to look at, that is your prerogative. Just don’t pretend that is my argument.

I don’t even think you know what my Greg Monroe comparison meant. It wasn’t that hard to understand, but may be worth reading again.

I know you're just fricking around, but obviously lower, but he was also coming straight from HS.

SGA is also super versatile. Imagine a team where you have every guy that starts able to play 2-3 positions.

Jrue can play the 1-2, hell we even see him guard the 3.

SGA has great size. He can play the 1-2, and also the 3

Zion can play the 3-5.

Galo, assuming he’d be in the trade. Can play the 2-4.

Harrell can play the 4-5

Throw Shamet and multiple picks in there.

It would be true positionless basketball. Multiple distributors. Good spacing. And the speed would be tremendous. This would be a team with a good mix of young and vet. Trade with LAC isn’t my favorite, but it’s super intriguing.

Can he defend those positions though? He is very thin.

Luka is a wing, and a very skilled distributor. Ayton will never have the impact Luka does. That’s just how the NBA is.

Ayton probably will be a yearly 20/10 guy with good efficiency. Luka will be a 25/7/7 guy with more impact though. He will he controlling the ball and creating. We’ve seen it with AD, it can be a problem when your best player can’t really control the ball.
