Hornets took LA's beat shot and was still in the game. They were only down by 6. I was impressed by that. I wanted a win no doubt, but honestly the 2 time defending champs are not going to get swept at home. Just really won't happen.

Hornets just need to play smarter. Too many silly turnovers and worse, too many god-awful missed free throws.

They were right in the game the entire time. This was the game we were all told LA was going to beat the tar out of N.O.

I wasn't really upset with anything in this game until we went 0fer on a damn flagrant possession, 2 FTs and the ball and we don't score a fricking point

Nope, Monty wasnt the one shooting free throws and putting bodies in there.

man they toyed with us the whole 2nd half. They were never threatened. Basically had a 9- 10 point cushion the whole half. Kobe could have been on the bench.

CP3 needs to be assertive offensively. And he wasn't.

I was called stupid because I didn't think he was our LONG TERM answer as a scoring wing.

The long term answer. lol

I realized this about 6pm on Sunday, when we actually beat them
Seriously though, you are correct. We showed that Game 1 wasn't a fluke. And tonight shows that we can hang with this team even when everything doesn't go our way. Hornets should win at least 1 in NOLA

this. tonight was rough. we have a small shot only if we keep up the great d and cp3 plays like he did in game 1. i doubt kobe and pau are this quiet again. we really blew a great opportunity tonight imo

I can't wait until James Van Der Beek guest stars on that show.

The JVDB/Mark-Paul Gosselaar combo

First things first, was the Yo necessary in the thread title?

Second, we did not take the Lakers best shot last night. They can play much, much better than that. I'm sure they will at some point, but not until their backs are up against the wall.

I really hope we take Game 3. I'd like another shot at playing a game up, this time on our floor.
