Doubt that's happening. Brown isn't a cancer. We have a need at the position especially with Hawkins injury. I expect him to play out the rest of the season here if we can't find a deal.

I woudl too if it was 2020. He's just about done with his NBA career. I doubt he does much of anything with us. He's just a expiring salary to trade this offseason or at the deadline next year.

The problem is that we don’t want to take back anything with a future salary commitment or puts us back into the tax, and contenders don’t have the matching salary or the expirings to fit with Brown’s salary. The trade partner just doesn’t exist.
What is more surprising is that we haven’t moved Green since there were some rumblings of interest and nearly every team can make his salary work

I got on the Trade Machine, I couldn't find a spot for Brown that matched up salary wise.
