Both BI and Zion will never play more than 30-40 games in a season. Actually, you're wrong. They've already done it. In '20-'21, both BI & Ingram played exactly 61 games each.

So both BI and BI played exactly 61 games each?

we are the 4 SEED IN THE WEST

for now...

we are about to go 1-3, at BEST, over the next 4, which will put us anywhere from 8 to 14...

real talk, this next evaluation of Zion's hamstring basically is the season... i think if it's negative, the season, on the W/L column as well as in the locker room, is over... the players know they NEED him back, and anymore lost time is just more games lost...

Yea, it's not like KD needed multiple surgeries for a toe injury!

100%

In fact, the season is still teetering even if the next evaluation goes perfectly and he begins ramping to return in 1-2 weeks.

2 weeks from a couple of days ago puts us at 2/7. If that goes perfectly, he still has to ramp up, with only 3 games left til the All Star break, if things go perfectly best case scenario seems like return after the Break.

There's only 22 games left after the All Star break. If we go 3-7 or even 4-6 before Zion returns, any chances of what we'd consider a successful season would be pretty darn small.

It would leave a very small margin for error over those final 22 games to climb back up in the standings to get into a position where we could do something real in the postseason.
1-3 would realistically probably gets us between 6 to 8 ish.

With the way the West is this season, even with our recent skid and if that skid continues a few more games, we still have a great shot to finish in the top 4-6.

In the Western Conference, there are only 2 teams outside of the top 3 who have played better than .500 over their last 10 games. Nobody outside of Denver is really dominating.
