Would you trade #23, Hawkins and a 2027 2nd for Mark Williams?

The deal fell through with the Lakers but this package is similar to what LA offered Charlotte for him although Dalton Knecht is a better player than Hawkins but this trade gets picks for Charlotte before 2030. Charlotte is open to offers on all their players and though Williams has an injury history, he had a pretty healthy 2025 and he would be the real true big man center that we have lacked since Jonas left. This would let Missi come off the bench while still progressing as a player and we would still have our highest pick at 7 to hopefully get Kon or Fears. Williams doesn't shoot 3s but he is a good rebounder, decent rim presence, shot 80% from the FT line last season and only makes about $6 million on an expiring deal so you aren't tied to him if he gets hurt again or you have the opportunity to extend him if he plays well.

No. I'm not trading a draft pick for a backup 5 on an expiring deal

mark williams is so injury prone I can't imagine him playing here. he'd wear street clothes more than a jersey at games

hear me out. Maybe we've been goign about this all wrong. We keep bringing in guys who don't have injury issues, then they get issues when they get here. Maybe we should be looking for injury prone guys, and maybe they'll reverse voodoo it and become healthy over here. It's worth a shot.

Would not give them #23 for him. Hawkins and 3 2nds.
