Ainge ain’t wooing AD with that lineup. He wants to play with another super star
Posted on 6/12/19 at 7:38 pm to NawlinsTiger9
Now it leans in the Lakers favor. Kyrie is always doing annoying shite

Let’s keep AD and waste both him and lebrons season. frick them ALL

Btw Jay Z sold his stake of the Nets years ago. He’s not an owner of any capacity

Ainge May aim for both D Lo and AD now, who knows. But this can’t be good for a chances of a Celtics trade.
Ainge May even play along as still interested to weaken Lakers, but this will certainly embolden Lakers that they are the top players in trade talks

This is the first time I've actually considered AD could be a Laker
Seems to me that Ainge was banking on being able to convince Kyrie to stay after getting AD. Question is, does he take the risk now that it seems Kyrie is basically making his intentions known?

Supposedly he has a backup plan in place should Kyrie bolt.
Supposedly that plan involves getting Mike Conley from Memphis.

Pels still have decent leverage in that Lakers don't want to wait around another season to acquire AD. Someone needs to leak some Knicks/Nets news!

I have a profound dislike of Jay Z.
Not quite as much as RP, but close.

So Boston had no clue Kyrie was leaving?
I just don’t think I believe that

This is kyrie we're talking about
Who knows what he's gonna do

Doesn’t matter. It’s over. Kyrie to Roc was the 2nd worst case scenario only to him signing with Klutch.
He will 100% be a Knick or Net and everyone knows it
That means Ainge will withdraw major assets. I hate to do this but it’s time to admit defeat, eat crow and start getting used to the Lakers assets.

quote:why not the knicks assets? I thought they were one of the major player from the beginning. AD said lakers or knicks, knicks made it known they wanted AD. Now the knicks just need to find a way to sweeten their side of the deal. Am i missing something?

Knicks are still possible. But it seems they have backed off not wanting to give up what they do have.
And most don’t think they have the assets to sweeten the deal more than the other suitors

Because the Knicks package outside of the 3rd pick and Robinson are hot garbage. Who knows how good those Mavs picks will be. Too many question marks

Griffin suggesting that Kyrie best fit is the Nets coupled with this news leads me to believe that they may consider the Nets if Boston backs out and the Pelicans really do not like what the Lakers have to offer

Don't turn into "Game Thread Bunchie". I don't think I could handle that in all these threads.

Nah. Not doing that. I’ll refrain from commenting further. But...yeah.
This is probably the most low key discouraging thing in this entire ordeal.
