Connecting with players is really one of the most important things a HC can do, even more important in many cases than being some basketball genius.

That being said, just because he doesn’t have charisma in a podcast doesn’t mean he doesn’t do with players. I still think he has a very outside shot of getting the Head job though.

Mosley we’ve only talked about in passing about on here. Maybe we should discuss him more.

Super stoked Weaver is getting press. Have been talking about him for a while, but I still cannot imagine Griff picking someone so green as HC, not that i would mind. I do hope they try to bring him over as lead assistant.

I think the way they've sort of "passed over" Finch that he'll be gone. So they probably will need to bring in a new lead assistant.

That’s why I previously mentioned Atkinson as HC and Weaver as lead assistant. It just makes sense given all the backgrounds, connections, fit, or experience.

I think it might have been Fletch that basically asked Griffin directly if Finch would be a candidate and Griffin dodged the question.

Maybe its a mutual thing though. We know Finch tried to leave once to go to Toronto and we blocked him.

I hadn’t heard him mentioned the last few weeks much.. or if it was I missed it. Yeah he’s from the hinkie tree as far as I’m concerned. No way he takes a staff position if he doesn’t get hired as coach right?

Maybe if it wasn't forbes. A bit skeptical as they never have any inside information. I hope what is written is the case though.

Actually a very good buddy of mine writes for Forbes sports, specifically collective bargaining and sports law, and he knows his shite, even if he’s a Florida grad and a professor at UGA. We both fricking hate the gumps, so there’s that.
