It’s absolutely this. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen someone so good at finishing around the rim. He doesn’t NEED to explode and slam it home because he’s going to make it anyway.

If he was just a big lumbering uber athletic guy who couldn’t finish then he would need to explode and dunk it, but that’s not the case.

I agree. He routinely makes shots around the rim where i think, that was a bit lucky. But at this point, anytime he misses a shot around the rim i'm like, why'd you miss it, regardless of how difficult it appeared b/c he makes it look so easy.

It so extraordinary that it seems more like he's cheating with magic than luck. It really is crazy because the ones that don't automatically roll in the basket like the net is a magnet are the ones that look strange.

When Billy lays the ball up on the rim and it's bouncing up there, I always expect it to roll out. When Zion does it, I always expect the ball to roll in.
