Who do you THINK will be the new coach next year

A coaching change will be made, regardless of what some here think..
This is not to discuss who you WANT as coach, rather this thread is to discuss who you THINK Griff will hire as the next coach.
Just looking at his hiring practices, he's been going with people he knows and trusts.
For that reason alone, I believe his pick will be Tyronn Lue.
I know some here will hate it, but it's not all doom and gloom.
Nobody really knows how Lue can actually coach because he only coached a Lebron led team.
Looking at it from Griff's perspective though, Lue is young, smart, has a championship pedigree as a head coach, has a winning record, and is someone the young players will listen to and buy in to.
I know he could've made this change this offseason, but 2 things were going against us. 1) Lue was being persued by LAL, and 2) There were so many more pressing issues that needed to be handled first.
It's a win win for both sides though. Lue is still getting paid by Cleveland, plus he's getting valuable experience from one of the best coaches in the Association in Doc Rivers, and will likely end up with another ring.
So with that, who do you think Griff goes with, and why?

Honestly I’d melt if it’s Lue. He’s a good assistant. Not a leader

What makes you think this?
His only head coaching gig he had the worst player in the NBA to try to coach that listens to nobody

He brought in all of these people like Trajan Langdon for a reason. I don't think we can narrow it down to just people Griffin has ties to. The names tied to Langdon are way more appealing to me than the names I've seen tied to Griff.
I personally want either Stackhouse or Messina.

Agreed, nothing Lue has shown me tells me he is the type of coach that can be more than a steady guiding hand on a ready made championship team.’
He thrived in Cleveland because LeBron was on a mission and Lue was less rigid than Blatt, who had clashed and lost the power struggle with LeBron.
To me this is where Trajan is going to earn his keep. I honestly expect the hire to not be a known quantity this time.

If Lou’s the coach, I’d probably become a normal Louisianian that rarely thinks about the Pels.

Knowing this team....
Gentry
Gentry

Wish we can fire Gentry now and put Finch as interim coach to see how he would do.

I don't know his philosophies of coaching an NBA team.
The Lakers tried to screw him over in a disrespectful way last year. I do know this much about Coach Lue. As a coach he has a winning record. He has played with great players and has two rings from time with Lakers as a young player. He is a calm confident coach. He and Griff are friends.
He wants to coach a young team.

I think both Stackhouse and Messina would be worth looking into.
I know Jerry Stackhouse signed a six year deal with Vanderbilt just this year.

This style of offense would fit our players perfectly also IMO..
Zion or BI begins to drive inside, and they will automatically draw 2-3 defenders with them and leave shooters WIDE arse open

Reasons?
Why would you think Griff would go with
one of them?

Why?
Lue has never had the opportunity to prove himself, so he's really a bit of an unknown with a championship pedigree..
Really, I think he could be good

Read a couple of articles on Lue. He is a players coach. He is not afraid of players with attitude.
He has said he wants to coach a young team.

Is he? I don't know much about him but I do know a lot of other recent PGs with championship pedigrees were average coaches at best. Avery Johnson, Derek Fisher, Jason Kidd, Marc Jackson. You're basically saying "don't freak out because he hasn't proven he's average or worse", but I just listed a bunch of names that suggests he probably is.
Do we have a reason to believe he's better than those guys? I'd give Rondo a shot when he retires, but he's really unique and has acted like a coach his whole career. He'd need a hook like that for me to not be disappointed.
