I think situation dictates a lot of this narrative of players. If he played on a team with a solid defense, I think he could be a good contributor. The Pels don't really have a player that can get his own shot when the offense breaks down, he could be that type of player.

I would trade #4 for Zach LaVine in a heartbeat. Dude is still 24, 23 PPG, shot 47% FG, 37% 3PT, 19 PER and it's been his best year so far. He's only going to get better and a change of scenery could benefit him greatly.

Seems like a decent compliment to Jrue imo. Jrue is a great defender that can get to the rim but really isn't a "playmaker".

Lavine is definitely more of an offensive playmaker type.

That could work. Especially if you have other guys like Zion that can ball handle as well.

Could look similar to this:

Bulls get:
Lonzo
#4
Solo

Lakers get:
AD

Pels get:
Lavine
Ingram
Hart
#7
Future Laker first

You think he will get better with a move to a team where he would not be taking all the shots and dominating the ball?

Indiana and Atlanta both have some interest in being the third team in Lakers/Pels trade

From MM

Could mean Myles Turner, Sabonis or John Collins on the table?

Also, not everyone on your team needs to be a great defender. But if LaVine is starting you probably want to surround him with 4 other solid defenders. A ton of the volume scorers in the league aren't great defenders though.

Atlanta wants 4. They’d probably give up 8 and 10.

LaVine is basically what Booker is. People salivate over Booker for whatever reason, I find him overrated as shite bc people treat him like he’s a top 20 player when he isn’t. Big stats on a bad team guys. Lavine isn’t at least properly viewed I guess. Both are terrible defenders. But he’s a knockdown shooter, decent playmaking ability and isn’t a bad fit next to Jrue.

I think he could go from a ball hog to a more efficient off ball player if he can shoot 37% from 3, get his own shot, and get to the rim.

Granted, I haven't watched Lavine recently because he was on Chicago. But he obviously has the athleticism and talent. The question is is he willing to do that and adapt.

Apparently Pacers have some interest in both Lonzo and #4
Hawks would be interested in moving up to 4 and also would be willing to absorb Solo

Absolutely his ability to shoot the ball and spread the floor and his pure athleticism will help out the team.

Pass on Atlanta, but Indiana sounds interesting if Turner is involved.

Yea.. no one wants to talk about his defense when they bring up LaVine’s stats.

Current news story - “Pels believed to rank Kuzma as Lakers’ most valuable trade asset”

Who writes this shite? Oh, wait, it is the LA Times reporters. Of course.

Someone posted 4 for Sabonis on twitter to the Pacers fans, and a decent percentage of them said they'd do that. Some said they'd rather trade Turner than Sabonis. I haven't watched the Pacers much, who is worth more? Turner appears to be the better player, but I guess Sabonis is younger, cheaper, and possibly has more potential?

This whole situation is so F’d up.

We got so lucky with the lottery. New York isn’t offering us #3 and talent, so you know they wouldn’t have offered #1.

We’re basically getting lowballed by the Lakers because they know that RP and Davis are trying to force their way there.

I’d take Tatum and filler over that Lakers crap just to piss in the Cheerios of all those involved.

Turner fits with Zion better due to his ability to shoot the 3 and shot blocking abilities.

I love Sabonis. However, I think Turner would be a better fit with Zion and is already extended. Sabonis is up for a new contact after next season.
