The bad thing about this is the fact that we start the 'build through the draft' model about 4 years late.
The good thing is the prospects look a lot better than the prospects from the last 4 years

I'd have JVG in here today if I was in charge. I'm not defending anyone involved in this mess, I just can't think of a good reason why Loomis cares at this point. I think the only 2 things that make something happen soon are AD forcing the team's hand or Ferry being Loomis' plan B if Demps/Gentry didn't work out.

Because loomis doesn't know enough about basketball to do it himself and doesn't want to have to go find someone midseason to make moves. It's easier to punt this til the end of the season and hope Dell doesn't frick it up.

I think heads are going to have to roll before end of season to appease AD.
However whatever they do from this point forward should be to maxmize the likelihood of getting a top 3 pick.
