What happened to JV's playing time?

Second straight game with under 20 minutes of playing time. Against teams without a big center so match ups shouldn't be the reason. What gives?

Nance only played 18 minutes. Pels went small ball to get Bagley off the floor. They have no rim protection depth and Zion exploited that.

We've also been playing Zion at the 5 more. Not sure if that's the plan or if that's the result of JV's injury.

He took that BI knee to the calf less than a week ago and they've been on the road the whole time, so I'm sure he has been limited in treatment options. The flights aren't helping it heal, either.

Griff knows that Willie doesn’t like JV, combined with the fact that JV is expiring. Why not go get Gafford at the deadline? Instead we just sat on our hands while teams around us got better
