I'm late starting the thread this week.

As I type this, the Clippers are losing 68-69 to Dallas. A loss would drop the Clips into a tie with the 9th and 10th place Jazz and Suns at 10.5 games back of the Nuggets.

Everyone had the Clippers pegged as a top contender in the West. I really wonder what kind of deal they might try to make a deal at the deadline to improve. It just doesn't seem like it's going to work.

This is what happens when teams are content to pay players max contracts and they never see the court.

The championship? It’s your money to bet, son. Not mine.

Jonathan Issac is finally back. Hasn't played since the Trump administration.

Be terrible for Raptors if Anunoby turns out to be seriously injured tonight. Bad fall on left wrist.

Denver is making it look easy. Aaron Gordon throwing half court lobs against the Sixers.

What do the Clips have available to improve with?

They tied up all their first round picks in the PG13 trade through 2026 and they don’t have a ton of what I would consider talent that they can really spare.

Moving someone like Zubac likely gets them something but you aren’t replacing his production at his contract price.

Raptors are already tanking if that happens but it kills the value they get on him before the offseason.

Makes it easier to sell on Siakam and Van Vleet tho.

Funny how the team we praise early on during a game ends up losing in the end.
