Anyone catch BI interrupting one of Trey’s post game interviews from yesterday to make fun of his defense

He's not going to get enough minutes to win that. Needs to be in the starting lineup and probably making the all-star team to be in the running for that award.

Well that makes sense to me too then lol

Another one that I could see being in the thick of those conversations year end is Anfernee Simons.

Averaged 17ppg last season, but the last 25ish games once he was a firm starter, before he was shut down to tank, he went 23.5-6-3 on 42% from three and 46% from the field. Looked like a borderline all star.

I think people took this post too literally. He wont win the award obviously but he should definitely be in discussion for it and 6 man of the year if he lives up to this pre season hype. Kid has been putting the work in. He could average 15+ off the bench next season

Ahh, you didn't mean win it, but possibly top 3 or 4. BIG difference, Ok let me take it one step down, he won't be in the running for it.

Zion should get the Comeback Player of the Year award if he comes back and plays like he did 2 seasons ago.

If the Jazz are remotely competitive the rest of the year, it's going to be hard to beat out Markkanen for the award. He's getting borderline MVP buzz. We all expect them to slip back, but it just depends on how far.

Lauri, Haliburton, Maxey are probably your top 3 at this point.

The award almost always goes to players that go from good(14-19ppg) to great(20-25ppg, all star consideration/appearance), not 9th man to really good 6th or 7th man.

Not if lauri markkanen keeps this level of play up.

We all know SGA is darn good, but what he is doing this season is just stupid. It is at an All-NBA level so far.

Tyrese Haliburton may actually end up leading the league in assist with a Pacers team that everyone was sure they were going to suck

IF Trey is in the running for MIP or 6th man, we are rolling.
