Why would Gayle sell the team? Another lazy fricking post by brain dead Saints/Pels fans who are butthurt. Gayle is sitting on a money printer whether the team wins or loses. Same for the Saints. They're not going anywhere especially with Loomis written in the succession plans

Money printer for what? What can’t she buy that she wants to buy? She has no heirs to keep printing money for.

Are we next?

If franchises are going for $4B we’ll have to sell and the new owner needs to move to Vegas to get max ROI.

Yes, we’re next.

I'm not a Saints fan. But I am a Pelicans fan. I am not sure how or why I would be butthurt. I just realize that she has no heirs or natural successors, and she is pretty old. She's easily in the top 10 of oldest owners. I think almost top 5. The team cannot stay in a trust long term. So, it will be sold sometime soon.

We need a new arena and massive upgrades throughout the facilities. It's going to take a large investment to make the team competitive. Pressure is building for them to make a move. It might be easier to step aside and let someone else make those moves..

Those plans are already in the works and have been for the last 5 years now. But cry some more

In the works? What does that mean? Are we getting a new arena?

I'm hoping some part of him WANTS to own two teams when the time comes

tilman fertitta already threw his name in on the Saints side. He'll have some competition there.

Sell the team to a guy that sells his cole slaw in milk and mayo, gives Small greasy chicken tenders and gives you salty old tire tasting French fries.

That should solve the problem.

If they don't happen soon, I'd hope she would leave some of the proceeds from the sale toward a new arena/major renovations.

Okay, Mikey. We get it. You got back in Gayle's graces so now you're gonna Stan.
