no thanks.
I'd prefer no felons on the team.

Go peek at Rubio’s stats for a second, then his contract, then come back and delete this thread

I keep thinking about Denver. They've got to do something, and i think they are a dark horse to go after Lonzo, hell i think Bledsoe would do them wonders. I'd trade Bledsoe to Denver for Harris if they gave us Nnaji or Hampton and a first.

If we could get a 1st for Bledsoe, I would be on board.

Do you not think Denver would be desperate enough to do something like that? They are underperforming, and need a legit PG with Murray.
Harris has been giving them nothing the last two years.

If Bled was a legit PG we'd want to keep him

What parallel dimension of the NBA are you watching?

Bledsoe and JJ to Bulls for Porter.

Pels get cap space next season and clear room for Lewis to start

Bulls get a point guard and release JJ.

I'll take Valentine at this point. Guy hits threes when he's supposed to and that's a huge bonus for the Pels

I think we have to accept the fact that Bledsoe is unlikely to go anywhere this year, and we will probably have to attach him as a salary filler next year for a bigger trade.

Also, it’s looking more and more likely that JJ will be a buyout candidate...unless a deal with the Knicks is done(which I don’t see why they would).

And....we probably won’t get much back for Lonzo either.

We can’t seem to make up our minds on whether we want to compete this year or drive the tank. So it’s looking like we will be right outside the lottery or around the same position as last year. And unless there is someone available who we really like, we should look at trading that too. We have shown that we can’t develop the young drafted players already on the roster(besides Zion and maybe Kira).

Unless we can get legitimate value for Lonzo by the deadline, we should look into sign and trade opportunities next year. That way we can work around the cap to bring in a player into the exception created with all the picks we have. Then look at bringing in someone else using Bledsoe’s and possibly Adams’ contracts.

Cap space to sign who? More mediocre vets that won’t move the needle that’s who. If we can’t develop young drafted talent like OKC and Denver have been able to do, then we might as well use the draft capital we have and attach the current contracts for another star player.

We don't even get cap space? We match salaries and we're still right near the lux line

Why are people so fricking stupid?

Well, yeah everyone here would. If that was ever offered, it would be malpractice for Griffin to say no.

I doubt Bled is going anywhere for a little bit. His value is at an all-time low, so it’s silly to think we would/should move on from him now. As much flack as people have given Griffin recently for his drafts, his tradings has been his strength and definitely doesn’t move guys at their lowest value.

I am of the opinion that Bled going to play better once Lonzo is gone. His usage rate is the lowest it’s been in a decade and he’s playing more 2 guard than he ever has. I honestly think he’s just not used to playing this way. Im hoping that once he starts getting the ball in his hands a little more and he gets more time to gel with the team, he’ll look a lot better. This isn’t much of a limb to go out on, Bled could not play any worse than he has this year, so he only really has one way to go.

Literally the only benefit to trying to move these guys right now is to open up minutes for our young guys....But Kira is already playing 20 min a game, NAW and Hayes have essentially been benched.

I agree. I would also say the same if Bledsoe left, Lonzo would play better.

The Nuggets are playing Gary Harris the third most minutes on their team, and he's gotten progressively worst the last 3 years, still shooting just 33% from 3. Bledsoe is having a career year from 3, and is a better defender than Harris.

The reason i said i thought we could get Nnaji and a 1st is b/c i think Harris is that bad. Bledsoe might not be great, but i think teams know whatever we are doing here isn't working for most of our players, and they are better than they are showing. Bledsoe has value over Harris, by a good bit.

How about this:

Denver gets Bledsoe, Thornwell and Melli, Cleveland 2nd

Bulls get Harris and Lonzo

Pelicans get Otto Porter, Campazzo and Nnaji

The deal is mainly for Beasley. Rubio is a filler. Rubio has 1 year after this year just like Bledsoe. This is actually a solid deal for us if we have no plans on bringing Lonzo back.
