Trade for Siakam

He'd fit in seamlessly at the 4. Gives us a playmaking big who could guard 1-4 and rebound well. Trade Zion for him and a bunch of pics.

Trey is our future 4.
Siakam is an expiring, so it would be silly to trade for him not knowing if you’d keep him, but I would like him as a small ball 5.

Lastnight I looked up 2024 free agents on Spotrac.com. You are correct about Siakam, and it's possible that Toronto may be the only taker. I did not see any other free agents I would trade Zion straight up for. Of course, the Pels would have to have an extension agreed before a trade.

Imagine lineups with Siakam as a small ball 5 with Murphy, BI, Herb and Dyson just locking people down.

anything we can get that is decent in return should be a yes. his value goes down every single day he plays or sits in the NBA.
the heat feel like an organization that would “think” they can turn him around and get him to care. I don’t really want any of their players other than Bam, who they definitely wouldn’t trade for Zion though.

I agree about the Heat thinking they can fix him.
The Heat have Herro and Jacquez and I think ‘27 and ‘29 to trade. If in the offseason then it could include ‘31 too.
I don’t want Herro, but you could look to move him for a better piece.
