I am starting to see a lot of talk that pushes back against NBA expansion. It's a nice windfall, but it dilutes the product and they have to take a lesser cut each year. If they decide to stall expansion, and cut the season by 6-12 games, there is going to be a lot of movement coming the league.
There are a dozen or so investment groups bidding for expansion. If they can't get a team, there will be a bidding war for existing teams. It might be cheaper for those groups, even given relocation fees and buyouts.

Maybe "now" was incorrect, but according to my padnuh who has some deep connects, she is willing to sell before she croaks, but only as a package deal. Graves is ready, willing and able to buy the Saints right now, but she doesn't want to sell the Saints to him right now, unless he takes the Pels as well. Graves doesn't want the Pels.

That’s a lot for one person to take on going from 0 to 2 major sports franchises. Also, obviously there are exceptions and owners grandfathered in, but don’t both the NFL and the NBA generally frown on owners owning 2 major pro sports franchises in the same city?
Maybe not the nba as much, but I could see the NFL wanting a brand new owner to not split time on a “competing” product.

What is the point of making up inside information about an owner? Your "podnuh source" doesn't even make sense from a financial standpoint. Gayle would 100% make more money if she sold separately. It wouldn't even make financial sense for her to sell as a package much less that being a hill she is willing to die on.
