Here is a list of FA backup PGs. There's 24 of them and I'd say Frazier is probably in the middle tier of this list. And this isn't counting guys that just got drafted or teams that already have their backup PGs in place. Yeah there's a big supply of money out there, but there is also a pretty big supply of back up PGs.

That does put some things into context.
I don't have the time but I could imagine you could go through all 30 teams and figure out who is actually in need of back up PG's and begin to see how realistic a 5-6 million offer to Frazier is?
It is after all the most flush position in the league. But then again it only take one.

For those of you who gave up on the season early, Tim Frazier is a point guard we picked up late in the season when he got cut by Portland. He averaged 13.5 ppg 7.5 ast and 4.4 reb while shooting 42% from 3 and a 19.1 PER in 29 MPG.
All of that is way above his normal averages, and he played during a very soft part of our schedule at the end, so you have to take it with a grain of salt. But he also put up those impressive numbers playing with a virtual DLeague team as all of our better players were out with an injury. I remember Ish always seemed to play better when he was able to start with the better players on the team. Frazier's 5 man line up with the most minutes was Frazier/Ennis/Hamilton/Babbit/Perkins. 2 guys who rarely saw time when the team was healthy and 2 other guys that people who gave up on the team early would ask "Who?".
