Jrue has never been a clutch player in the closing seconds of a game. 95% of the time he screws up offensively.

I mean I have statistics to back me up.

22 7 and 5 over his last five games and that's not including tonight. That's great second banana numbers.

Even though he shot 50% from 3 , Lonzo shooting from beyond the arc 8 times is comical

Combine that with Jrue+ JJ, or Favors and should definitely be able to get a superstar

Yeah because teams with a superstar are definitely thinking “You know what I’d rather instead of this superstar? Jrue Holiday and Derrick Favors.”

Lonzo is not a lethal anything, that was one game and he's a below league average 3pt shooter.

Jrue is guarding every teams best player nightly (even out of position) and still delivering. I'd blame uncle fricking al for his struggles before anything else.

No superstar will ever want to come here unless we are title contenders. If anyone actually thinks that, your mental health needs to be tested

I thought he played better, but yeah that's just ridiculous. He's at least attempting to drive. Maybe developing him jumper will make he more comfortable attacking.

One's an expiring. The other is a former max level player pushing 30 who has not proven to be a leader nor the best player on the team. If you can get a budding star or even a disgruntled guy. You have to gamble. Or lose Favors for nothing. Paying Jrue another year does what? And it lessens his trade value. GMs trade potential for proven commodities every.single.season.

Antonio Daniels saying the Pels dont have the individual player mentality to come out and dominate a game instead of it being a coaching issue.

Who gives the team their mentality Antonio?

AD is right. Did Chris Paul dominate the final three minutes because of Billy Donavan. Its a stars game

Alvin probably discourages hero ball. No young player wants to be called out in the film room. Makes them timid.

The post game crew is frustrated too. Daniel's will go hard on somebody that's for sure.

Players have their own killer mentality, that's something that cannot be coached

Kyle Lowry was clearly a foundational piece for the Raptors.

He was the 3rd best player on their title team last season.

Jrue is better than Kyle Lowry.

When you have nothing but young players and nobody like chris on your team you need a good coach that can teach that mentality.

Holiday should be held to a higher standard then.
